Organizations and Clubs
Sacred Heart Area School offers many enrichment programs to students beyond the classroom. The sense of community arising from the additional activities enhances the student’s sense of self as a part of the school and as a member of the larger community.
AAA - Arts, Academics and Awards is held in conjunction with a spring book fair. Students participate in their choice of activities by creating and displaying art projects, demonstrating academics, or performing for the students, staff and families of the community.
Adventure Club (International)
Offered the during Q4 of the school year, Adventure Club (international) explores 8 different countries from around the world, exploring the cultures, history, people, and foods (yum!) of these places that are so different from our own. Drawing upon experiences from people who have spent significant time in these countries, this club helps students to experience the rich diversity of the world without having to leave the classroom. During the 2022 school year we visited the following countries: England, Spain, France, Egypt, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and Mexico. For the 2023 school year we are hoping to be able to visit; Ireland, Italy, Austria, Israel, China, Malaysia, and Venezuela
