Picture Day!

Picture Day is coming up on Tuesday October 3rd. Here’s some information from our photographer:

I am so excited to photograph your student on the upcoming photo day at school. We have some exciting things happening this year that I wanted to inform you of.

First off, you now have the ability to prepay for your child’s photo on line. No more worrying about if the order envelope will get left in the back pack or on the kitchen table. This is also a great option if you wish to pay by credit card. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON LINE.

To prepay online just go to www.tolifsonphoto.orderschoolpix.com From there, find your school in the drop down menu and enter the password Prepay. From there just follow the instructions. Your child will then receive their package at school with all the others.

If you would prefer to see your child’s image before ordering we have that option also. When the original pictures come back to the school after a few weeks everyone will get a picture envelope. On this envelope will be your childs individual password to go online to view. You may then order or place a reorder and it will be shipped directly to your house. Reorder prices will apply along with shipping charges.

Secondly, we have a choice this year of 21 different digital backgrounds!! Simply choose the background you would like when you order online or mark your desired choice on the order envelope that comes home with your student.

2022 Workathon

2022 Workathon

Sacred Heart Area School’s annual Work-a-thon will took place on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, starting at 11:30am and ending around 2:00pm. The Work-a-thon is a benefit to both the Staples community and Sacred Heart Area School, while providing a service experience for our students. This is one of the major fundraisers that Sacred Heart Area School sponsors. To make this a successful fundraiser for SHAS, we need a commitment from all K-6 students and parents (preschool invited/encouraged) to help meet our fundraising goal of $12,000 in 2022. Our goal for individual students is to raise $150 each. For families with two or more students, we ask that you raise a minimum of$250 for the Work-a-thon. This goes toward the $300 per student minimum requirement for fund-raising for the year.

The 1st & 2nd grade students and families will be picking up debris and raking leaves in parks and yards in Staples. The 3rd—6th graders will be cleaning up plots and raking at Evergreen Cemetery in Staples. The preschoolers and kindergarteners will remain on school grounds and pick up debris around the buildings. As Christians, we are called to serve God and His people which we are fulfilling at our Work-a-thon. Thank you in advance for your contributions to our success.
