At Sacred Heart Area School, we believe that leadership is about more than just managing and directing. True leadership is modeled after Christ’s parables and example; a leader lays down his very self for those he serves. We know that the best leaders are those who are willing to serve others needs before their own, those Christ-like people who will wash the feet of others, who show love and devotion, not through empty rhetoric, but through a daily life of selfless actions. Our leaders are servant leaders, those who lead by example and who devote themselves to preaching the Gospel at all times, even when silent.
SHAS Student Council 2023-2024
The student council is up and running. We are excited to help our school and figure out our new role in it.
Purpose
1. To serve as a council to discuss student activities, student problems, and student opinions having to do with Sacred Heart Area School.
2. To assist the administration, staff and students in further development of pride and school spirit.
3. To be self-supporting by raising monies for some student activities, parish/community service projects, contests, and spirit items.
4. To extend student/school involvement to parish and community.

The group has gone through the hymnal book, picking out songs to make into a smaller book for song practice. They have also been helping teachers out by doing the outside sign.
